Machinist

This is my very first post, and I'm hoping many will follow. I just needed a place to talk about gettin' a job, unemployment, , and what I've been doing while working the hardest job in America-looking for a job. If you recently graduated from college, or maybe you didn't, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm surprised about how much information there is on the web that answers my job hunting questions. They never do much good, but they point me in the right direction. I've even gone to some good sites where human resource employees and recruiters post information about who they hire and why. It's all good and fair here on the internet, and yet surprisingly none of it has ever seemed completely true.

The fact is no one ever really knows why they hire anyone. This person is qualified, and this person rubbed me the wrong way. This person was right for the job, and this person came off "desperate."



Anyways, I'll be around. Hopefully, we can talk about it.
